Taking a week to delve into the finer points of CSS layout controls… so tread lightly over the next week or so.

Seeing now that WordPress (at least sites hosted with WordPress) have a peculiar way of managing their pages and the CSS that controls (only aspects) of their display, I am debating moving from the WordPress server to manage the site on my own box.

While not a perfect world (which world is?), I’ve “come to terms” with what hosting a WordPress blog on WordPress’ servers means. There’s enough control that I can make the blog my “own” and I will continue to explore the subtle possibilities of what this might all mean other than a few pic and color changes. Some of the more creative CSS I had intended to explore will need another environment to explore (likely my own server) and I suppose this blog does not need to be the laboratory for such experimentation just yet.
